David Tudman

Dave Tudman moved to Athol in 1995 to enjoy the landscape of woods and fields. He owns 130 acres of forest on Chestnut Hill, and loves to work on the property.

Dave loved building things. He retired from the transmission business in 1986 when he was injured in a car accident. When he moved to Athol, he built a beautiful home for his wife and then built a woodshop so he could get back to work. He built most of the furniture in his house, then started building custom furniture for sale. He loved to work with cherry as well as other local species. He would build anything, and a visit to his home would show off the talent he has applied to furniture in every room of the house!

Dave has recently retired from woodworking; however, we still carry a beautiful bookcase made of sugar maple and maple (priced to sell) in our store.
